Week 5 reflections
By going
through the process of writing and re-writing my action research plan I was
able to keep improving on my action research.
I was able to talk to two administrators from my building, one being my
site supervisor, and discuss my topic.
This was helpful because it encouraged me to proceed and showed me that
my wonderings were legitimate. After
developing the plan and meeting with my site supervisor I was able to refine my
research and make it more plausible.
Overall this
class was helpful in teaching and showing me the need for action research. I was able to gain insight into how I can
become a more effective leader by acting as a principal-researcher. By questioning problems and ideas you might
have you can effect needed change in your school so that ultimately the
students will benefit.
